~Saga #10 Information/WFU's New Look~

Saga #10 information has finally been revealed! The best part? It sounds awesome! Read the saga's summary:

In this series, all the characters that have died from before or just went away will be back. To face the new evil master Karlo as the W.I.T.C.H. team will face Karlo with the help of the ancestors, who are Orube, Caleb, Elyon, Phobos, Nerissa and Cedric will arise from the dead as to they were not even dead, their soul has gotten up to Kandrakar, but still hidden and by the new W.I.T.C.H. transformation they can set these souls free! This is where the anti-climax of the story comes, when suddenly they find out Karlo is innocent and he has been controlled by the head evil master Garrono who is Karlo's twin brother, he will fight the W.I.T.C.H. team and they will be defeated, but when they almost die because Garrono is too powerful, the powers of Phobos and Cedric and Orube and Elyon and Nerissa along with the power of W.I.T.C.H. will defeat Garrono and they will save the world from Garrono's evil plans of destroying Kandrakar and the world and also taking over it. The story has lots of drama and sad scenes in it. A very different part of the W.I.T.C.H. comic magazine than the former issues.

The name of the saga is Return of the Ancestors, meaning most of the old W.I.T.C.H. characters will return. Which will make for an interesting story :)

Happy New Year, Witchies!

I can't believe 2011 is almost over, there's less than an hour left until midnight. I just wanted to let you all know how much I appreciate all my fans & supporters, you mean the world to me. W.I.T.C.H. Fans Unite's 4th anniversary is coming up in June, I can't wait. :)

Anyways, I wanted to wish everyone a happy new year! I can't believe it's over already. Well, I'm off to put on my New Years hat and my 2012 glasses and watch Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve. I'm spending the night with my family and watching the ball drop while drinking apple cider.

With that said, goodbye 2011. Time to ring in 2012!

Merry Christmas, Witchies! I know I'm a bit early, but I figured it's better to post today because today's when I celebrate. I celebrate tomorrow too, though. I finished making a Christmas cake & cookies with my mom and brother and we just had Christmas dinner. Pictures will be posted tomorrow!

New Banner for Christmas & December W.I.T.C.H. Site of the Month Winner!

Christmas is just around the corner, which requires some changes to W.I.T.C.H. Fans Unite! I know it's already the 14th of December, but I've been busy again. Christmas Break starts December 23rd for me, which'll give me more time to post. :) Well, the banner is the wallpaper for the December W.I.T.C.H. Issue, the info on which will be posted after this post (the actual image won't be posted until Christmas in a Christmas post, though). The playlist will be changed to Christmas music too. On December 31st, the playlist will be changed and the banner depends on when my source has the wallpaper on her site.

Guess Who's Returning to the W.I.T.C.H. Comics?

The contest ended November 11th, 2011 (this happened long ago, I know). The poll results were close, but in the end, the character returning to the W.I.T.C.H. comics is: Elyon! Caleb was a close second and Orube made it to third.

But what's strange is that people who checked the poll said Orube was first. Some think (including me) that Disney rigged the voting. Unless Elyon really recieved that many votes, but I just find it a bit weird. Since I didn't check the poll too often, I don't know what to say.

Hi again, everyone! I usually don't post on Sundays, but today deserved a post, even if it's now 12:03 in the morning. XD LOL Something amazing happened today that brought a huge grin to my face.

I visited my blog to see that I currently have a count of 4, 058 visitors! I really hadn't expected that. That is why I want to thank all my visitors for spending time on my blog, I really do love visitors. And comments too :)

Happy Thanksgiving, Witchies!~

Happy Thanksgiving, Witchies! Today's the day where you spend time with your family and devour tons of delicious food such as turkey (of course), mashed potatoes, corn, cranberries, etc.

Thanksgiving was first held by the Pilgrims, who declared a three-day feast, starting on December 13, 1621, to thank God and celebrate with their Indian friends. While this was not the first Thanksgiving in America (thanksgiving services were held in Virginia as early as 1607), it was America’s first Thanksgiving Festival. The date of Thanksgiving was later changed to November 24th.

Anyways, my traditions are getting up at 9:00 AM in the morning to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade until 12:00 PM, then to have a Thanksgiving meal with my family and watch movies all day long. What are your traditions? Comment!

I'm just about to enjoy my meal. I'm probably gonna gain a gazillion pounds, lol.

Happy Veterans' Day! This post is dedicated to all the veterans out there, thanking them for their service. This day is the anniversary of the signing of the armistice, which ended the World War I hostilities between the Allied nations and Germany in 1918. May you veterans rest, you deserve it.

Today is also 11/11/11, a.k.a. the only time for another 100 years that the month, day and year match each other. This day's considered a day to wish, one little wish in the morning at 11:11 AM, and another huge wish at 11:11 PM at night. You have to wish at exactly 11:11 AM/PM. I'm not superstitious...but I wish my wish would come true. <3 I've already made my two wishes, have you?

Yes, it's true! There have been many new releases in terms of W.I.T.C.H.-related specials & books. W.I.T.C.H., you've made it to your 124th issue! Congratulations. So far, there's no explanation to what this issue may be about, but from this cover, maybe a little hint at a dragon being involved in this new saga?? The cover's nice, though. It's unbelieveable how long the comic series is going on, let's hope we make it to #200+!

So far, here's what we know about this saga:

-There is no title for the saga, like "100% Witch" or "Teach 2b Witch", and there won't be any more titles permanently.

Happy Fourth of July, everyone!! I hope you've all been having a great day so far. Once again, I apologize for not posting for so long. But, I do have important updates:

-The blog interviewing me, Magic Blog Star, has e-mailed me the questions and I have answered them. I am now awaiting a response. :) I have asked the blog owner whether or not it's okay to post the interview here on my blog. She will be posting the interview in her online magazine in Portuguese, and I think there'll be an english version too. I'm so excited!

-I will be posting Episode 15 of my podcast sometime next week.

-W.I.T.C.H. Lottery is returning this Saturday.

-I've discovered some new information about W.I.T.C.H. which will be posted throughout the next two weeks.

-I'm currently translating Teach 2b Witch Issue #8 and working on the January and February W.I.T.C.H. Cuties comics, they will be up soon.

The WSOTM is back and better than ever! It may be a little late to be posting this(I was supposed to post this on the 1st of the month), but oh well. This time around it was a close tie between United W.I.T.C.H. Fans & Forever Magic, but in the end, United W.I.T.C.H. fans won by one vote. Congratulations to my sister blog, United W.I.T.C.H. Fans!

But, this blog would not exist if not for willvandomrocks, my fellow-W.I.T.C.H.-loving online friend and sister blogger. She has put lots of hard work into her blog, making banners and advertising in every way she can. Go visit her when you get the chance, it really is worth it! Part of what fueled her to create her blog was this very blog. She felt inspired, and I'm proud to know that I've inspired someone out there. :)

Issue #120 now out in Italy!

W.I.T.C.H. has exceeded our hopes and dreams...they've surpassed the 100 mark, instead getting to 120! But the end of W.I.T.C.H. is nowhere in sight, so there could be way more issues heading our way soon. The name of Issue #120 is Lady Giga. Which sounds...a lot like...Lady GaGa. XD

I'm guessing there's a character that looks like Lady GaGa. No information has been released about this issue yet, sorry. And the wallpaper for #120 that I wanted to use for this post is nowhere on the web either...

Anyways, the February W.I.T.C.H. Cuties comic is currently being worked on, and will be available on WITCH4LIFE very soon.

Check back tomorrow for more updates! I figured we should take a break from W.I.T.C.H. Lottery, at least for one Saturday. :D

Issue #118: All In A Day has been confirmed!

Yeah, the news is right! Hard to believe it, huh? W.I.T.C.H. has officially made it 118 ISSUES. That's a record, and it's way longer than the issue mark we'd been expecting, which was about 100 issues only. But W.I.T.C.H. continues to triumph with new issues every month in Italy. This month, Cornelia stars on the cover, wearing what looks to be a pale sweater, a striped scarf and pink gloves.

Okay then, here is a bit about the saga, in case you all are wondering what this saga pertains to:

In this series, every issue has a different story. The girls have to face their daily problems and dangerous enemies such as Nihila, the evil Queen of Fate, or the Runes - five magical boys. Earth gives the girls a warning by using their elements. The captain of the Runes arrives as a new student on Sheffield Institute. Later the girls meet Mareeve, a saarineen who fled from Orristurr, king of the sharks, who wants to marry her. It's believed that the Guardians' mothers will get powers of their own in Magical Moms, seen in the 9th arc story "A Dive into The Air", when Susan Vandom sees the magical reality warped pool area when no one else does.

Okay, time for a blog update:

As some of you may have noticed, W.I.T.C.H. Fans Unite has gotten an entirely different new look. And the header is no longer centered(which I'm still trying to fix). I've changed the main colors to mostly black, purple, and white. I've changed the "Follow Me on Twitter" button and added a "Show Some Love, Add A Comment" accessory. I've added "Ways to Contact Me", where you can find my e-mail address, MySpace & Facebook. I've also edited the Advertisements a bit. I've added in a playlist, which I will make a poll for, deciding whether to keep it or not. I will continue to make changes to this blog, so keep checking. Most of these new changes are of course, on the sidebar. Please feel free to scroll all the way down the sidebar.

~Merry Christmas from DCQ!~

Merry W.I.T.C.H.-Mas, Witchies! Christmas Day has finally arrived! Today is the one day of the year where quality time with family means everything, and awaking in the morning means time to open your presents. Christmas is celebrated by many, many people all around the world, in many different ways. All month long, I've seen beautiful Christmas lights, trees, and excited shoppers. Candy canes, Santa Claus, presents, family, you name it...there's so many fun things about Christmas time!

My tradition is to open my presents on Christmas Eve. Usually, my dad makes a little speech, then we open all our presents, then watch the movie "It's A Wonderful Life". It's great, really. My presents this year were awesome(manga, drawing supplies, lip gloss, clothes, nail kit, candy, etc.) Then, on Christmas Day, we usually watch the Christmas Day Parade, go out to eat, then come back home, relax and eat some X-Mas cookies, cake, or pie, then watch movies.

I'd like to hear some of your traditions. Drop a comment if you'd like to share one! Save W.I.T.C.H. Day is December 28th, 2010!

Save W.I.T.C.H. Day is around the corner yet again! Now you may ask, why is there such a thing as a "Save W.I.T.C.H. Day"? It's because of Disney taking away our most favorite show and replacing it with shows that no one cares about!

Disney now has other shows that are boring, and don't have a real meaning to it like W.I.T.C.H. did. Disney is only focused on audience & money, and we need to show them that it's not all about that. We need to bring W.I.T.C.H. back and give it the third season(and hopefully more) that it deserves!!

Soon our chance to save W.I.T.C.H. will come again! We need to jam their phone lines and flood their inbox with e-mails! Don't forget, you can fax too!

Happy Thanksgiving, Witchies! The day has come once again to dine with your families and stuff your face with turkey and mashed potatoes. But that's not why we celebrate Thanksgiving. There is a story behind this turkey-tastic holiday:

The Pilgrims who sailed to this country aboard the Mayflower were originally members of the English Separatist Church. They had earlier fled their home in England and sailed to Holland to escape religious persecution. There, they enjoyed more religious tolerance, but they eventually became disenchanted with the Dutch way of life, thinking it ungodly. Seeking a better life, the Separatists negotiated with a London stock company to finance a pilgrimage to America. Most of those making the trip aboard the Mayflower were non-Separatists, but were hired to protect the company's interests. Only about one-third of the original colonists were Separatists.

The Pilgrims set ground at Plymouth Rock on December 11, 1620. Their first winter was devastating. At the beginning of the following fall, they had lost 46 of the original 102 who sailed on the Mayflower. But the harvest of 1621 was a bountiful one. And the remaining colonists decided to celebrate with a feast - including 91 natives who had helped the Pilgrims survive their first year. It is believed that the Pilgrims would not have made it through the year without the help of the natives. The feast was more of a traditional English harvest festival than a true "thanksgiving" observance. It lasted three days.

Governor William Bradford sent "four men fowling" after wild ducks and geese. It is not certain that wild turkey was part of their feast. However, it is certain that they had venison. The term "turkey" was used by the Pilgrims to mean any sort of wild fowl. Another modern staple at almost every Thanksgiving table is pumpkin pie. But it is unlikely that the first feast included that treat. The supply of flour had been long diminished, so there was no bread or pastries of any kind. However, they did eat boiled pumpkin, and they produced a type of fried bread from their corn crop. There was also no milk, cider, potatoes, or butter. There was no domestic cattle for dairy products, and the newly-discovered potato was still considered by many Europeans to be poisonous. But the feast did include fish, berries, watercress, lobster, dried fruit, clams, venison, and plums.

This "thanksgiving" feast was not repeated the following year. Many years passed before the event was repeated. It wasn't until June of 1676 that another Day of thanksgiving was proclaimed. On June 20 of that year the governing council of Charlestown, Massachusetts, held a meeting to determine how best to express thanks for the good fortune that had seen their community securely established. By unanimous vote they instructed Edward Rawson, the clerk, to proclaim June 29 as a day of thanksgiving.

It is notable that this thanksgiving celebration probably did not include Native Americans, as the celebration was meant partly to be in recognition of the colonists' recent victory over the "heathen natives". A hundred years later, in October of 1777 all 13 colonies joined in a thanksgiving celebration. It also commemorated the patriotic victory over the British at Saratoga. But it was a one-time affair.

George Washington proclaimed a National Day of Thanksgiving in 1789.

Okay, I have my Thanksgiving tradition: I get up early, at 9:00 AM each Thanksgiving to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, which usually ends around 12:00 noon and only comes around once a year. Then I usually either go out to eat with my family or my dad cooks us a Thanksgiving meal.

Hey, Witchies! In case you guys have been going to the Italian W.I.T.C.H. website, you guys may have noticed a new series of mini-comics by the name of W.I.T.C.H. Cuties. In these comics, there are about 4-5 panels (a.k.a. boxes). The W.I.T.C.H. girls are chibi, or miniature. I will be translating most of these comics into English, and have translated about five already. They will be available soon on WITCH4LIFE: http://www.witch4life.webs.com.

P.S. One more thing, I will also be posting another mini-comic I found. It's a two-page comic that has to do with Will & Matt.

Happy Fourth of July!

The fourth of July is officially here...and you know what that means!!! It's Independence Day. Today is a day known around the world as a time to barbecque, have parties, and set off some fireworks. It's known as a day to spend time with your family and have a good time. But some people truly forget the meaning of Independence Day. On July 4th, 1776, all thirteen colonies were declared as "Free and Independent States". They were no longer under the rule of King George III.

Today, around the globe, people are celebrating our freedom with mostly parties. For me, I'm enjoying some time with my family to eat and watch movies. But, I'd like to hear what your traditions are. :)

This issue involves mostly Taranee. She feels alone, and her parents are getting worried. They take her to a pet clinic, where they meet Dr. Moore and Luna. Taranee adopts two dogs and discovers Luna has a twin sister, Sun! Sun is a little harsh and is also magical. She goes on an adventure with the twins and saves the clinic from a fire. In the end, Taranee becomes best friends with them both.

Yes, it's true...Issue #108 is now out in Italy! Will takes the cover this time, with a cute puppy by her side. Could this mean a pet for Will? Too bad we have to wait until the issue is scanned. It seems like a good issue though. I went to the site and it showed me a picture of Will and Dean, which means it must involve them...I guess...

First, before I begin with the news, I need to apologize a bit...Why? Because of my activeness on this blog lately. Before, I was able to get on everyday, no problem...but now, I haven't even caught up with the W.I.T.C.H. Lottery...So I just wanted to say sorry to those fans of my blog. My schedule has been crazy lately...I've been so busy with things like school. I have a big test coming up in March that I'm panicking about, so I need to do homework and study almost everyday. I am always going places or meeting with friends, so I feel as if I'm totally disappointing all my internet friends...Sorry for the rant, just wanted to apologize and explain a bit. :p

Moving on, here's my latest news:

~Teach 2b Witch Issue 6 is being translated, still. Other than translation, the issue is done with all other processes.

~Teach 2b Witch Issue 7 needs to be translated, and maybe even edited.

~Teach 2b Witch Issue 8 is on the verge of scanning.

~AAW Episode 14 will be up when I have time...

Well, 2009 is ending...and 2010 is slowly taking over. It's sad, saying goodbye to another year. But saying goodbye to another year doesn't always have to be sad...it could bring you health, happiness and luck too! I have the feeling 2010 will bring nothing but good things to all of the world! Some countries may have already celebrated the New Year to those who have!!

My tradition is to watch the ball drop on tv and drink apple cider with my brother. I'd love to hear some comments from you W.I.T.C.H. fans about your traditions. And of course I have my resolutions as well. And one is for WITCH to have a Season 3, of course. XD

Anyways, I am so thankful to have those of you who come to my blog and leave sweet comments, to those who are fans of this blog, or to anyone who has only stopped by!! I am glad I got to share another great year with all of you. This blog was created in the summer of '08, and once 2010 is here, then begins the 3rd year of this blog being here on the web!

And with that said, all of you...have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Merry Christmas from me, DCQ! I'm sorry I wasn't on to post this yesterday(I was having some computer programs), so it's a bit belated. But, it's never too late. Anyways, since today is Saturday and WITCH Lottery is usually done today, WITCH Lottery will be posted tomorrow. And I have a little tidbit to share: I open my presents on Christmas Eve. Most people open their presents the next morning, but my tradition is to open it on December 24th. It's nice to do if a little differently than others. Leave a comment on this post if you do the same! :)

I was going to give you a Christmas Youtube video by me....but that will have to wait until tomorrow, and as for the Christmas Special, I wasn't able to get to that all month because of the Teach 2b Witch Saga translation. A Christmas WITCH Fanfiction will also be up to read.

I thank all the comic scanners for providing us with W.I.T.C.H. issues all year long, I thank my entire family and my friends too for helping me have such a great Christmas!
